Legal
Policies, disclosures, and rights-holder contacts for kpopdropz.
kpopdropz is an independent fan-curated guide to K-pop merchandise, photocards, and Korea-only releases. We are not affiliated with HYBE, SM, JYP, YG, KQ, Starship, or any other agency, label, or artist. Group names, logos, photos, and album artwork are the property of their respective owners and used here for editorial reference under fair-use principles. The pages below explain the rules of the road for both readers and rights holders.

How these policies fit together
Our terms of service set the ground rules for everyone who uses the site. The privacy policy describes what data is collected during that use, and the refund policy explains where our responsibility begins and ends when you click through to a third-party retailer. The affiliate disclosure is the editorial firewall: commissions never decide which shops we cover or how we rate them. Finally, the IP takedown channel exists for agencies and creators to get a fast, no-litigation path to removing any content that should not be on the site.
We publish these documents in good faith. They are not legal advice, and we may update them as the business expands beyond curation into Lucky Draws, photocard verification, and Korea-only proxy buying. Whenever a material change lands, the "Last updated" line at the top of each policy will reflect the new date.
Editorial standards behind the policies
kpopdropz is curated by editors who fact-check release dates, photocard inclusion lists, and retailer behaviour against verified sources before publishing. The data layer is a mix of manually confirmed entries and an automated pipeline that pulls public RSS feeds and structures them with explicit guardrails — vague phrases like "later this year" never become a published date, and unknown artists are not added to the catalog without human review. When something slips, the correction channel runs through the contact email and the IP takedown channel above.
Affiliate revenue funds the editorial work but never sets the editorial line. If a partner retailer ships counterfeits, has persistent fulfillment problems, or stops honouring the published Lucky Draw schedule, we say so on the comparison pages even when the commission is high. That is the entire reason the editorial disclosure exists as its own page.
Jurisdiction
kpopdropz is operated from the Republic of Korea and serves a global readership. Our policies attempt to honor the strictest applicable rule across the regions we serve — GDPR for European readers, LGPD for Brazil, the CCPA and CPRA for California, the UK Data Protection Act for the United Kingdom, and the Personal Information Protection Act for Korean readers. Where a regional law gives you a stronger right than what is described here, that stronger right takes precedence.
